President's Message

It is my pleasure to welcome you to Copiah-Lincoln Community College. I invite you to learn more about all that Co-Lin offers by exploring our web site or visiting one of our three beautiful campuses. You'll find that Co-Lin is a place where you never meet a stranger.

Co-Lin was founded in 1928 and we have an annual student enrollment of approximately 5,000 students. Our educational mission is broad but the success of our students is our primary goal and we are proud that a significant number of our students graduate, enter the workforce, and/or transfer to a university in our state.

We are proud of our students. They are involved in student government, community service, academic honor societies and dozens of activities and campus organizations. Co-Lin students have been recognized nationally with our Eta Omega Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) being recognized twice as the number one PTK chapter in the nation. In 2012, two Co-Lin students were recognized on the national All USA Academic Team. Faith O'Brien at our Natchez Campus and Kimmie Kolpek at our Wesson Campus were the only two students from Mississippi on the All USA Academic Team and out of the 20 national members of the team, Co-Lin was the only college in the nation with two members.

We are also proud of the success of our athletic programs at Co-Lin. In recent years our student athletes and coaches have won state championships in football, women's basketball, softball, golf, and tennis to name a few. Just as importantly, several of our athletic teams are consistently ranked nationally in academics. In 2013, Co-Lin had more student athletes recognized for academic excellence than any other college in our state.

The faculty and staff at our three Co-Lin campuses continue to do great work to benefit our students. Not only were they involved in our campus work, but many were actively involved in various academic, economic, and community organizations.

All of us at Co-Lin are optimistic about the future of our college and are committed to providing quality education and support services to the students and communities we serve. Please don't hesitate to contact me or a member or our administrative team to learn why we believe Co-Lin is...the place to be!
